The outstanding research undertaken at Osnabrueck University is characterized by close interdisciplinary cooperation. Highlights are our AI Campus, resulting from longstanding specialization in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), in particular in the Institute of Cognitive Science and in the Institute of Computer Science. The Center of Cellular Nanoanalytics Osnabrück (CellNanOs) is the only one of its kind in Germany equipped with a unique infrastructure of light and elctron microscopy. The CellNanOs is developing new approaches in modern cell biology. Further research foci are Migration Research, Early Modern Intercultural Studies and Environmental Systems Research.
