International Welcome

On Saturday afternoon, August 24, 2024 international scholars are invited to join GAIN24 for the English program and Science Slam. Any international, PhD student, or postdoc in the area is invited. There is no admission fee for international researchers but registration is required. Please see below for more details. #GoGAIN24

We cordially invite all international PhD and postdoctoral students, as well as junior faculty of all disciplines to join us for the Saturday afternoon program at the GAIN24 conference and career fair in San Francisco, California. The Saturday afternoon program is offered in English. You can schedule appointments with representatives from more than 80 German universities, research institutions, funding agencies, and industries. Find out about their program and job openings! We offer a special information session with expert advisers and consultants for international researchers on opportunities for Postdocs, Young Investigators, and Junior Faculty Members in Germany. 

Participate in the GAIN24 Science Slam and win a prize! Take the chance and impart your current research results to a diverse audience. Present your findings in a five-minute pitch in from of the GAIN24 audience. The winner will receive a cash prize of 3,000 US Dollars!

The application deadline is July 1st, 2024. To apply, send a one-minute video (link or file) that outlines your idea to Hanna Kolyvek at kolyvek@daad.de.
