Present your research at GAIN19
Welcome on stage: the GAIN Science Slam premieres at the GAIN19! It is all about science communication. Five international researchers from various fields will present their findings in a ten-minute pitch in front of the GAIN19 audience. The objective is to impart current research results to a diverse audience in an understandable and entertaining way. Various presentation digital media are allowed, e.g. PowerPoint presentations, live demonstrations or other requisites. The GAIN audience is also the Science Slam Jury.
Science Slams started in German university towns in the mid-2000s: Darmstadt, Braunschweig, Hamburg. Today, Science Slams are held all over Germany on a weekly basis. For GAIN19, it makes perfect sense to merge American storytelling, elevator pitches and German science communication on the GAIN19 stage.
