Campus OWL New York
Campus OWL ist ein Netzwerk von fünf Hochschulen in OstWestfalenLippe (OWL) – Universität Bielefeld, Universität Paderborn, Hochschule Bielefeld, Hochschule OWL und Hochschule für Musik Detmold.
Das Campus OWL New York Office wurde 2019 gegründet und vertritt diese fünf Hochschulen in Nordamerika. Sie ist eine Non-Profit-Organisation und wird durch Beiträge der Hochschulen unterstützt.
Mit rund 120.000 Unternehmen ist OstWestfalenLippe im Nordwesten Deutschlands eine industriell geprägte Region, in der Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft eng miteinander verbunden sind. Die Zusammenarbeit von Hochschulen und einer Vielzahl leistungsstarker Unternehmen macht OWL zu einem bedeutenden Forschungsstandort mit über 65.000 Studierenden und mehr als 500 Studiengängen. Die New York Office nutzt diese Netzwerke, schafft Möglichkeiten für Studierende und Forschende und unterstützt die Zusammenarbeit mit nordamerikanischen Partnerinstitutionen.
Campus OWL is a network of five higher education institutions in OstWestfalenLippe (OWL), Germany – University of Bielefeld, University of Paderborn, Hochschule Bielefeld – University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSBI) , OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Detmold University of Music.
The Campus OWL New York Office was founded in 2019 and represents these five higher education institutions in North America. It is a nonprofit organization, and is supported through contributions by the universities.
With around 120,000 companies, OstWestfalenLippe in northwestern Germany is a region , where business and science are closely connected. The collaboration of universities and a wide variety of high-performance companies makes OWL an important research location with over 65,000 students and more than 500 study programs. The New York Office makes use of these networks, creates opportunities for students and researchers and supports collaborations with North American partner institutions.
